Road to Rio!

Fall, 2015 -- It is a new season! Where a new season begins there are new chances ahead. Chances for adventure, for life lessons, for redemption where there was demise, the possibilities seem endless. This is a time where the clock resets itself. For many athletes this is the peak of our careers, and it is what we have been training many years for.

Through the fall is when I have high volumes of training. The mileage is high, the weights are heavy, and the days seem long with multiple workouts. My first race of the season to shake off the rust will be while I am at home for the Holidays in Rochester NY at RIT on December 26th.

It can be a long season ahead, but I believe it will all be worth it. My overall major goal is to make the Olympic team and have the best possible race I can at the Olympics. What motivates me to get there? The hard work I have already been putting in, the hard work still to come this year, and the unselfish support from all those I am fortunate to surround myself with.
